OMG Lane is smoking HAWT and he is an MC who is definitely a take no prisoners, sweetheart daddy, alpha kind of guy. This is the start of a new MC series written by LeAnn Ashers but we get to see previous characters from her other series make cameos in this book and also get to see new characters that will be in upcoming books and it, as they say, is all good in the hood.
Lane is one hot and tough MC alpha and he is a single dad to an adorable little girl who he didn’t know about until recently yet he immediately loved her on site and was a better parent than her own mother. He was so loving and good to his daughter Tiffany—he put her first and that made me just melt when I read all that about Lane. He was a yummy alpha daddy!!!
Amelia is this awesome vet who didn’t have the greatest home life yet she turned out to be this independent woman who just took and allowed her confidence and beauty shine thru, even after all the terrible times her family put her thru. When she met Lane, it was like this instant connection. Or should I say from the moment Lane and Amelia see each other—its electric between them, sizzling and hot, steamy and erotic, an alpha recognizing his mate. Lane didn’t let anything get in his way of going after what he wanted, which was Amelia and I adored that about him. And Amelia was so on her game with teasing Lane—its something you have to experience, you need to read their interactions. It is HAWT!!
There is drama and angst, when Amelia is in danger and Lane doesn’t take too kindly to his woman being in danger. Together Lane and Amelia work on making sure their new life together isn’t brought low by the villains and I loved how in sync they were together. They stood strong and together against adversity, and that makes them a couple to watch out for!! I really enjoyed this story and cant wait for the next book in this new series!!
