This is one of the best romance books of 2017—I loved the co-authoring between my favorite authors CA Harms and S Moose. This story is such a rollercoaster of emotions that I was on the edge of my seat. The story prologue lets you know this isn’t just some innocent love story but the heroine is one you will be rooting for from the get go. Reagan Halloway was about to start a fantastic new life for she is about to graduate college but one night , one terrible, horrifying night changed her life completely. Fast Forward a few years later and we see Reagan but she isn’t the Reagan who we met at the very beginning. Reagan is finally getting both feet back on the ground in her life and she is finally about to start this new job with a company she has wanted to work for and she is going to be personal assistant to Mrs. Powers from Powers Financial. On her first day there, she literally crashes into Drew Powers, the CFO of the company. Drew is a complete and total jerk. He makes me want to smack him, with how rude he was to Reagan. Drew at first didn’t know what to make of Reagan but he knew he wanted her. He found he was attracted to her but he fought that attraction so he was terribly rude and hateful to her. All Drew cared about was proving to his family he was ready to take over the CEO spot and sharing that responsibility with his cousin Remy. He was coming off a bad divorce and all he cared about with his sweet and funny 6 year old son Dawson—let me say, this little boy will steal the show in this book. He is THAT ADORABLE!! Drew and Reagan argue and fight just like little children. But it was to mask that attraction that they both feel.
Reagan is scared- scared of letting Drew in, of letting people into her world after all she went thru but one day she finally opened her heart and let Drew and Dawson in. Drew is persistent, he kept showing Reagan he wasn’t going to give up and he was going to be there for her no matter what and that it was “them against the world”. I loved how when the walls came down, they both just fell completely and totally in love. The story had villians- like Drew’s X- Wife and Reagan’s villain from her past. There is so many awesome parts and moments to this story. I loved the secondary characters in this story like Aimee , Reagan’s BFF and Remy, Drew’s cousin and best friend. I cannot wait to read Remy and Aimee’s story. That was one story that was bubbling up as Drew and Reagan’s epic , beautiful story was ending. I cannot say enough beautiful things about this story… I do want to add this may need to have a *trigger warning* because there are some things that this story has some tough and sensitive subject matter. Other than that, this is a MUST READ story!!!

Drew is persistent, he kept showing Reagan he wasn’t going to give up and he was going to be there for her no matter what and that it was “them against the world”.
