About the Author:

Born in New York and raised in Southern California, Meghan has grown into a sassy, peanut butter eating, blonde haired swearing, animal hoarding lady. She is known to bust out and dance if "It's Raining Men" starts beating through the air and heaven forbid you get a margarita in her, protect your legs because they may be humped.

Once she started commuting for an hour and twenty minutes every day to work for three years, she began to have conversations play in her head, real life, deep male voices and dainty lady coos kind of conversations. Perturbed and confused, she decided to either see a therapist about the hot and steamy voices running through her head or start writing them down. She decided to go with the cheaper option and started writing... enter her first novel, Caught Looking.

BK 1-Bourbon Sins

This is book 1 in a series   called Bourbon by Meghan Quinn and what a explosive start to a series. This book is nuts but in a good way. I started it in the evening and couldn’t stop until I finished it which was like at 3 am… it was that addictive. 

Jett is a powerful man. He owns the most exclusive gentleman’s club in New Orleans. He hunts out women he wants in his club and he is very selective on who gets to be a “Jett girl". Jett is a man who is mysterious, handsome, yet he is also a man who broods A LOT but he has a good heart even though he may not seem like it.  His mission with the club is to help the girls who are destitute, providing them with a good job, food, place to call home and even free education. All he asks the girls in return is that they “submit to him” at any time and he makes sure that they are willing. Jett has had a bad experience in the past so he does not want love or relationship from any woman. Any woman he  sleeps with is a  no strings relationship/affair.

Goldie is a beautiful woman who is to the point she doesn’t know what to do or where to go--- her job working as a cocktail waitress in a low class night club with a horrible, nasty boss  is terrible plus she doesn’t make much at this job with her boss taking much of her tips. But her luck has changed because Goldie has caught Jett’s eyes –he saw her in an unlikely place and Jett was captivated by her beautiful body and sweet face. From then on, Jett was determined to make her one of Jett’s girls. Jett is in for a surprise because Goldie is anything but submissive. She has no filter when it comes to saying when she speaks and is not afraid of challenging her alpha, sexy as sin boss. When these two meet, its like an immediate connection, a ticking time bomb….that is how hot their chemistry is.  I felt so bad for Goldie because she has such a good heart.. she wears it proudly out where she can be hurt. She starts to fall for Jett. She has just gotten out of a semi relationship and plunges head long into a new one with Jett… Will Jett be able to return her affection or will he let his previous broken relationship taint him and not let him ever have a new one and let him be happy again? Or will Kace who is Goldie’s immediate boss, come in and be her knight in saving grace ?

This story is one that  fabulous, beautiful, exciting, action packed , sizzling storyline. I loved the main characters and the supporting cast of characters to make this story move along at an awesome pace. Kace is a third character  who has this crush on Goldie and his crush sort of complicates matters with Jett which will be in the 2^nd book.  He is an important character so definitely keep an eye on him. This is one exciting series and I cannot wait to read Bourbon Deceit (book 2). All I can say is this is fabulously exciting!!

BK 2-Bourbon Deceit

This is book 2 in the Bourbon  Series—this book picks up where we last left off in Bourbon Sins (bk1).

Can I say, this is one crazy as sin , awesome, sexy series!! Jett and Goldie’s story just keeps getting better. Goldie/Lo is still sassy as ever, mouth still getting her in trouble and Jett is opening up to Goldie and things are starting to looking bright between the two of them until Jett’s dad- Leo and Rex Titan (Goldie’s ex)  start mischief and destruction. What are they after… LOT17. It all comes down to practically a showdown between Jett and his dad and in the crossfire is Goldie.  Jett wants to protect Goldie in case his plan doesn’t work out. But his plan could rip them apart…for good.  Their relationship is so complex and fraught with tension and pain and angst. But there is also passion and at times tenderness. They both have a lot of baggage and of course, issues which complicate their relationship. Goldie pushes for answers from Jett which he refuses to give and without knowing what LOT17 is and how it impacts their relationship, will this be the thing, the issue the drives them apart?

OH MAMA, this was another roller coaster story with great characters and supporting characters. In this book, we met  Diego – then Kace and other Jett girls are still very much in the picture. We saw how the secondary characters were in Goldie’s life while Jett was off doing his thing. There was so many ups and down in this book, and it ended in an epic cliff hanger. I literally bit off my nails while reading this book. I was so mad at Jett during half the book and the other half I was yelling at Goldie to listen and not run off and do  what she did. That is the mark of how good a book is, is when you are conversing with the characters. Since this ends on a cliffhanger, I cannot wait for book 3 to find out what happens to Goldie and Jett’s relationship and the evil that is haunting them.

BK 3-Bourbon Kingdom

Bourbon Kingdom, book 3 in the series by Meghan Quinn is OMG insanely GOOD!! It is probably THE best one yet in this series. This book starts with Goldie leaving Jett for Rex but it isn’t what you think…She has a huge plan to save Jett and everyone that is with Jett from ruin…Love her sassiness and spunk. Problem is , she doesn’t know how to go about doing it so its all on the fly. She just knows Jett needs to be awarded Lot 17 by the city council so that he will quit acting so crazy and finally calm down but will that mean their love will flourish instead of floundering? Oh the emotions that are felt in this book are desperation, anger, love, passion, sadness, tension, angst… it will take you on such an emotional roller coaster ride.
The characters act at a fast pace and there is such a level of drama, suspense, tragedy, heartbreak, scorching sexy moments, intense twists and unexpected epic surprises. This is a story that will stay with you even after you have finished. Goldie and Jett’s love story is one for all times. I enjoyed all the characters, loved how everyone- main and secondary made appearances and hope to read about Goldie and Jett again.. Someday. They are truly memorable, one of the amazing books I have read.

BK 4-  Bourbon Truths

Bourbon Truths is the 4th book in the Bourbon series by Meghan Quinn. Bourbon Truths is a full-length novel and is a standalone in this series but I recommend to read the books in order. Book one - Bourbon Sins; Book two - Bourbon Deceit; Book three - Bourbon Kingdom; Book four - Bourbon Truths for a better understanding of the characters in this series.
Bourbon Truths explores the life of Kace- Jett’s friend and right hand man, and his relationship with Lyla-Goldie’s BFF. Kace was a well-known boxer back in the day until one night his life changed tragically forever. Now he is the manager and a trainer at a community center owned by Jett. He has secrets and nightmares, is terribly haunted but has a big heart.
Lyla is a beautiful woman whose never had an easy life, has had it pretty rough. Which was due in part to her being in the foster care system. When she ends up meeting Kace, she instantly had this connection- they instantly connected with one another. Kace thought he could try to be with her but he couldn’t forget his past and what happened. Then this push/pull started and it was terribly heartbreaking to read..how this couple who wanted to be together were being ripped apart by their pasts. He needed to be loved in spite of what happened and Lyla is that person, if only he would let her in. Lyla is a good person , she is just very free with her love. Will Kace open his heart and let her in?
