First, the cover of “Unloved”
is a thing of beauty..its something that will grab you and hold you, with all
its shadows –which is alluding to tragedy while there is a red splotch on the
cover in the shape of a heart which looks to be broken. It is how you interpret
the cover and I love it!!
This is a story that you
really have to experience-- This is
the story of two people whose lives have been affected in a terrible way.
You have broken souls and hearts. They are both lonely, and stuck
in the lives they have made for themselves and never should have met yet they
had no idea they would soon become the other's own lifeline.
Brynn Cadogen is
full of all the emotions ( angry, sad, full of anguish) and she feels in order
to break the cycle she needs to go on this journey to say goodbye but on this
journey something happens to her. Cassidy Porter is the son of a terrible serial
killer & and because of his family he has to live off the grid to
avoid people—he is trying to make sure he doesn’t do to people or get tempted
to do to people what his father did. Cass breaks my heart with the pain he
suffers from. He thought he was making it living alone in the wilderness…until
her- until Brynn. When these two people meet, its like kismet, fate…He was
there for her for all the right reasons at the right time.
This isn’t your average
cookie cutter romance.. its heartbreakingly breathtaking . The love story is
full of twists and turns, of suspense , lies and secrets. Cass is a good man, even when he thinks he is
evil. Brynn is such a courageous and beautiful young woman. She has gone thru
so much in her life and she was thrown for a loop when her life meets up with
Cass…things happen and she feels this connection with him. Their love story is
one that I truly fell for and couldn’t stop reading. There is so much that
happens in this story. All I can say is
this author knows how to write a good story with an awesome plot and definitely
one with hot , electric romance to boot. The characters feel like people I know
, grew up with and I cant help but feel like these are real people problems
with how she writes. I dare not give much more away *spoilers* but you cannot
pass this book up, it’s a must read!!
