This is Book 3 in the
Southern Heart series and the MCs are Jamie & Mike.
Mike and Jamie met a few months ago, and back then she was seeing
someone else yet a connection was made. Mike didn’t pursue anything because she
was seeing someone but now she is single. Jamie is headed back to Kentucky to
visit her best friend who she misses but she's stoked to see Mike again.
She is hoping to take this opportunity to explore the connection between them
while visiting this time, since they are both single. Only problem
is , Kentucky and Chicago aren't exactly close together and Mike isn’t too
willing to start a long distance relationship and in a way, neither is Jaime,
especially knowing she is open to her heart getting broken. Yet they
continue to explore a way they could be together and as they go back and forth
over is the distance vs them worth the risk, Mike and Jaime worm their way into
my heart. Jamie is a city gal while Mike is a good ole country boy. Ohh
is their passion hot and their love a perfect blend of that insta-love, insta
lust and good ole sizzle. I love how they were afraid to give all yet were all
but going all in. It was so easy yet the story was so hard at times…were they
or weren’t they? I don’t know how many times I yelled at my kindle for them to
just JUMP in and take a risk. In the end, it was so worth it!! I loved Mike and
Jaime’s love story and also getting to see previous characters from previous
book making appearance. This was a definite treat and I loved it!
