This is part 2 in Brandon and Carly's poignant love story. There is so much
angst and passion in this continuation –This picks up where book 1 left off and
we see power struggles waged and an unseating take place. Then in the meantime
the ongoing love story saga between Carly and Brandon reaches a feverish ,
passionate crescendo . Things between the lovers are going good but when things are going good, that’s when
those twists and turns come up and take our awesome couple on a roller coaster
of life’s happening. What is going to happen next? Will they make it together
and intact? Or will this affect their relationship? The book ended on one epic cliffhanger and will pick up in book
3. I have to say Brandon’s super protective and hot alpha behavior toward Carly
is a turn on while reading this book. And Carly’s independent , take charge
behavior while allowing Brandon to still be the alpha is so good—I loved their taking
care of each other and how they completed each other. There was a great cast of
supporting characters , old and new. This is a good book and I can’t wait for
book 3.
