Mira doesn’t understand why she has been taken or what her father has
done except she has been taken by a man who seems familiar yet he is so hard.
There is danger in the air and everything he says and does scares her. There is
this chemistry between Aleksio and Mira but it sort of took a backseat to the
real story that is being played out . I would have loved to see more of the
romance element in this book but the twist and turns in this story kept me on
the edge of my seat until the very end. At times, I didn’t know what is true
and what was Just a sham; all I can say is continue on reading until the very
end and all will come out. There are 3 books( that I am aware of) for this
series and each is focused on a different Dragusha brother with their individual HEA. I would have liked
more romance with as much suspense as this had in it but still, it was good. I
cannot wait to read the next brother’s story and see where we are taken next.
