What a fantastic follow up
in the Dangerous Royals series. Wicked Mafia
Prince continues the storyline in the
trilogy and focuses on Viktor, the
middle brother, and his long lost love, Tanechka.
Viktor and Tanechka were
partners in crime in Russia until
he thought she betrayed him and he “killed her” or so he thought. Then he ran
across her on a video feed as a “nun” of a virgin sex slave brothel he’s
monitoring in order to take down. Viktor thinks he is going crazy but he
knows its her or is it? His guilt is driving him mad and he must know if it is
her.
Victor and Tanechka's
past and their backstory is full of pain and angst yet we get to see the love
they shared. I hurt for them knowing how long they were not together and the
heartbreak they were going to be without each other and they heartbreak coming –We
get to see what happened to Tanechka after she supposedly died and there
is a huge twist in regards to how she ended up as a nun. With Aleksio and Viktor still trying to bring
down those responsible for selling off the virginity of the poor girls , Viktor
is torn up over completing his mission and rescuing Tanechka. Only thing
is she is resistant to his help all because of what happened when he tried to
kill her and the outcome of that. So now Viktor is fighting several battles at
the same time.
Once Victor and Tanechka are
back together, in one another’s arms, the heat and passion is so electric yet
the angst is still there and yet, Tanechka is fighting the demons in her past
as you find out while reading the story. Its like we see her past and then see
her in the present and trying to get the two together is sheer magic. Its like
trying to snap your fingers and make magic happen yet that is what Victor is
trying to do. Oh yes, I loved this story and the ending is a HFN story which
hopefully we will get a HEA in the 3rd story when we get The story
of the missing brother--Kiro .
It looks like the next story wont be out until November but fear
not, books 1 & 2 are great to re-read.
