My Review:
This is a sweet and hot romantic story about a young teacher
named Katie Lovely who has a class that has her students writing Marines overseas and she somehow ends up
writing to one Sergeant Major Mark Gunner.
Their letters were started
off sweet, sort of like a dating ad and just went from there. Katie didn’t think
she would get as invested as she would in this writing to Mark but she did.
Mark didn’t think he would fall for his letter writer but he did. The exchange
continued for a year and what a year it was…where the heat and passion
continued to burn and the passion is continued to be fed, along with the
cookies she sends him. I loved how each is dying to meet the other.
What happens when they meet
the other? Oh you have to read the book to find out. It is great. The only
thing is I wish the book was a tad bit longer after they meet so I could see
how their lives went after they met but overall this was a great novella type
story which was exciting and the military feel was good. I loved the MC and
their personalities were wonderful. I highly recommend this for a feel good
read.
My Rating: 4.5 stars ****
