ARC Review of Hallowed Ground by Rebecca Yarros

This is an emotional journey that will have you crying and cheering on Josh and Ember. This book is about their relationship and how long distance relationship put a strain on them then immediately after Josh graduates Flight school, then off Josh’s second deployment in Afghanistan. Ember is stressed and worried about his being in the middle of war . When Josh came back, he was dealing with PTSD and he pushed Ember away.
There was times I didn’t think they would make it together. I worried because no matter what, Ember was always there for Josh and he took her for granted but they hung in together and the ending was good. I think I would have rated it higher but Josh was a bit of a douche which kept my rating down.

My Rating: 4.0 stars ****
