Maple has been thru so much and in the final
book in the trilogy, we get to see her try to find her self-worth, see her
struggles after all she has been thru in her short time on this earth. J.B. does
not understand her struggles, he sees it but he doesn’t understand ; what he
does is play act to a point to help her and figures she will eventually get
better. All JB wants is her love and trust because he hopes she realizes she
does have his love and trust as well.
Maple had decided to go thru the “Pony”
process and when she did this, JB said their new relationship that they were in
would be dunzo. When I read this , I hurt for Maple and I can image the hurt
Maple felt when she heard that from the man she was in love with but she
continued on with the Pony process. She told JB she needs the Pony process so
she can get a handle on her feelings but JB doesn’t seem to grasp that but he
complies and there she goes in the Pony process where she encounters a total
witch named Brie AND the threat that JB has made that he will sell her after
the end of Pony training. Plus Maple is in danger from Tony and Gus…what is a
lady to do? There is action, drama, suspense, great chemistry and omg, the sex
is so freakin hot between Maple and JB. The only thing I would have loved would
be a epilogue that should the MC down the road in the future so I would know
how they were getting along but otherwise, this is a fantastic ending to the
trilogy.
