Ava Harrison has done
it again- blown me away with the elegantly complex and emotionally forbidden
storyline. This is a tale of two lost souls who found their way in each
other’s arms in this angsty , forbidden student/teacher story.
Gwendolyn “Lynn” Adams
has just found out her boyfriend has been cheating on her and she goes and sits
on a beach to find some solace from her pain. While there she meets this dark
and handsome guy she meets while
on the beach. His name is Carson and it
was one night that Lynn will remember forever..they had a night that was so
beautiful and swoon worthy. Star gazing and a fling in the sand. Only Lynn left Carson
asleep on the sand and ran away, never thinking she would see her handsome hunk
again…oh but she does, as Lynn's first period TEACHER!!!
Oh the words to describe this story…Taboo, Forbidden, Illicit..but it wont
matter what words I put to this story, it is so hot and so complex and so
emotional and filled with so many ups and downs, twists and turns. A love story that is to take away the ugly and fill
it with all the good life has to offer. Its about two lost souls who were about
to give up when they had a chance meeting and ended up finding their reasons
for living…each other. Lynn and Carson's journey was hard-fought,
hard-won, angsty, and so perfect. I cried, I laughed, I yelled at my kindled..I
adored Carson and how he was there for Lynn and I wanted to hug Lynn and
cherish everything good she did for Carson. This is such a beautiful story . If
I had to say one thing that could have been improved if I had to nitpick, then
I wish the epilogue showed the MC 2-4 years down the line and how the lives
were then. I do hope the author writes Lynn’s BF book for I would like to see
her story after everything that has been written in this book and see if her
life is impacted since this book has been written.. other than that, I loved it
and I know you will adore it too!!
My rating: 4.8 stars ****
