2nd chance
romance stories are my favorite and this was a good romance read. This is
really about 1st loves and then 2nd chances.
Bran was a high school
football star and Cecily was an artist. They were in love and they
married young. and divorced less than a year later. It’s what killed the marriage that was
unfortunate. It wasn’t anything that they couldn’t overcome but they were too
young and circumstances broke them apart. Their breakup tears Cecily apart and picks herself up and
starts over. She doesn’t know
what else to do. Branson is destroyed, but enlists in the army to get
away and start fresh. Neither are happy and neither finds peace being
away from one other.
Seven years later, they are back together at same college
where Branson is determined to win back his first love Cecily. He
realized he made a mistake when their marriage ended and he wants her back in
her life. She doesn’t know if she should
give their love another chance.
This is a good and sweet 2nd
chance romance about young love , small town romance story that shows how
distance can make the heart realize who and what is important. There is a lot of angst, sadness, but there is also
forgiveness, tenderness and love that came thru. I do wish some of the story
could have been written alittle differently but overall the story did shine
thru sweetly and with the light it needed to. I loved the 2nd chance
love angle and the growth the characters showed.
