***********MY REVIEW**********
This is a great new story
written by Lauren Layne. It is
charming and sassy, has great chemistry between the main characters Georgianna
Watkins & Andrew Mulroney while the settings in the book are
written that they make you feel as if you are right there.
This story was full of
passion, of chemistry, of humor, of witty banter—I loved Walk Of Shame!!
I couldn’t stop reading once I started and was up until the wee hours of the
morning because I had to re-read this fantastic story. Georgie is an
heiress yet she isn’t the typical heiress that you would think of. She is a
sweetheart and she is kind and smart. She gets a bum rap in the media which
makes people think all kinds of bad things about her that aren’t true. She tries to get people to see that she isn’t a
bad person and soon people start to see this EXCEPT the stick up his rear divorce attorney
Andrew. He says mean things to her or he makes it a point to ignore her- there
is no middle ground with him. Andrew is a super smart divorce attorney and grew
up like one of those boy genius types. He is successful, rich in his own right
yet something about Georgie rubs him the wrong way.
Their relationship starts off
rocky but yet their witty banter is their saving grace and the chemistry
between them is red hot. I also liked the secondary characters and just how
there were some angst and some twists and turns in this RomCom story. It is really complex yet sweet with the
layers you undercover as you read thru Georgie and Andrew’s love story. What a
great ending for this couple and a beautiful story.
