August and Belle were young and in love when they had the worst miscommunication and then their love came apart. It was the kind of miscommunication that could have been avoided but due to how young they were, the misunderstanding caused their love to tear asunder but never fully go away. Years pass yet August never stopped loving Belle and same goes for Belle. He left their small town to become a big time author yet she stayed behind and made do with the life she carved out for herself , yet always wondering about the lost love she had. Now August is back and wants to make up for lost time- August wants to claim what is his and that is Belle.
Now August is wanting a chance to win Belle back and she opens her heart again to let him back in her life but when everything looks like things would work out…the sky falls and enters into the picture Tomi Laurel Hallan—Now August has to go to Tomi and Belle is left in the cold again. As August tells Belle- she may have his hand but she will never have his heart because his heart will always, forever, be with Belle.
This is an emotional, complex 2nd chance romance story filled with raw emotion, pain, miscommunication, doubt, hope, passion, and most of all TRUE LOVE. I loved everything about this book – I hated the villains , loved the secondary characters and most of all loved August and Belle. This is one of the best books that I have read , with all the emotional drama , angst, action and love that you could ever want.
