ARC REVIEW OF Dishonorable by Natasha Knight

This is one dark, angsty, emotional romance read that is a delicious and surprising treat.
'Dishonorable ' by Natasha Knight is the story of Raphael and Sofia. This is not a hearts and flowers type of romance novel but a dark romance , one filled with heartache, pain, tears, fear, angst, yet there is also chemistry between the MC—there is passion, joy, and love the is between Raphael and Sofia.

Raphael is a broken man, what happened to him in the past shaped his life and set in motion the events that happen in present time- Raphael has one thing in mind and that is revenge of the people that hurt this family. Sofia is a sweet, innocent girl who is graduating from school and finds out her evil grandfather has done the worst thing -- her Grandfather has set in motion for her to marry Raphael. Sofia doesn’t know this Raphael, has never met him except one time when she came to see her Grandfather and Raphael arguing. Now she is bound by her grandfather’s arrangement.
In an instant Sofia's life has changed as suddenly she was bonded to a man who hated the fact he had her and that she had to take his name BUT the name she carries comes with an inheritance that is due him. Sofia has to move to Tuscany with Raphael and that is where the majority of the book takes places. We meet Raphael’s brother, who I would love to read more about and in Tuscany see Raphael and Sofia 's chemistry really flare. Sofia sees beyond the broken man to the man Raphael could be if he let go of the past. She starts letting herself fall for Raphael.. Raphael is a tormented man by the past and he never saw himself being able to let go and let the darkness go except Sofia is now in his life and she is the light. Which I loved that about her—she pushes and shows Raphael that he can be a better man , what she sees in him. There is this push/pull in their relationship and the sexual chemistry flares even hotter. But what this couple didn’t expect was the past to come barreling into their present and put them, put Sofia in danger. Beyond their passions and sexual cravings, they have to fight off Raphael’s inner demons, certain debts of the past, their enemies, the lies, treachery, greed, and of course---secrets and betrayal.
Sophia and Raphael have to decide what is important- one another or the past. They can let the past rule their future or they can sever the past and let love into their hearts and become one with each other to make grounds for the greatest gain –which do you think happens? To find out, you have to read this story and I have to say, this is one of the best dark romance novels out there right now. I hope Raphael’s brother and Sofia’s sister story is told…
