Belle - Book #1 Tangled is a new book by Anonymous Girls. I have to say the blurb going on the book and the hidden identities of the Anonymous Girls had me dying to read this book and when I started reading, I was hooked. Picture Gossip Girls yet twist it around and think of it in YA Fairytale terms set to a high school backdrop. And that is Belle, book 1. Oh but it is so much more than that…
I will say I wasn’t a HUGE Fan of Gossip Girls but in reading this book, I think I am now a fan and want to watch the TV show. This book was so intense. The MC and supporting cast were all well rounded and it was like a mini soap opera, all with intersecting plots but coming together to make everything super hot, super intense, super OMG.
Isabelle “Belle” March is a nobody. She is considered a nerd, if even that. She is officially a peasant while the rich kids ,the kewl kids are the IT class. She is considered and even called to her face a Peasant. Until one of the Royals, Adam “Beast” Castle, decided she was more than tempting, just ripe enough to ignore the hierarchy at their school. He is considered the KING of the school and she goes from not to Hot in little to no time. But soon there is another’s hands for her.,. And he is the Beast’s friend and he has an super sexy girlfriend cum fiancée. Prescott Charming is so handsome and he seems to truly care more for Belle.
There is so many twists and turns to this story—factor in the nasty people in this school, the hot sexual antics, the complex twists and turns. This is like a hot bed of action. The story ended on a semi cliff hanger so I am eagerly awaiting book 2 to see what happens. Were there some things I didn’t like- yes, some of the stupid behavior by the boys and how really no one in an adult capacity puts a stop to a lot of the behavior –but its still a good story. Going to my thoughts on the writers-- I also can’t wait to see if my thoughts of who the mysterious authors are, come out correct. I like their writing. Its fresh and puts a spin on semi old tv show.
If you love Fairytales, HAF Royalty, The dreaded High School Mean Girls and those silly cliques, plus all that drama that comes with attending school then don’t miss Belle by Anonymous Girls.
