This review is a hard one to write because I don’t want to give spoilers away but wow wow wow! This book will take your breath away and will leave you pondering a lot. You have to go into this book leaving any preconceived notions behind otherwise you wont be able to get into /thru this book. An open mind is required and also tissues are needed as well. This is a book that you will need to sit and savor , it is one that will grab on your heartstrings and one that will challenge you but wow does it really make you think. The twists and turns that abound in this story will have you on the edge of your seat. Its hard for me to write and not be able to say a lot but the characters in the book all have something about them that will grab your heart or make them want to hurt them. I hurt for the MC in the book- Kady and Yeo. Their love for all these years will make you cheer and the pain and angst that they go thru even now makes you want the best for them. This is one story that left my stomach in knots and at times I wanted to put the book down yet I couldn’t . How strange- K Webster does it again with a poignant story with sensitive issues written with a deft hand. She had me in tears yet I couldn’t put this book down until the very last word. There wasn’t one moment that I couldn’t let go-dinner was pushed back until I called out for pizza and let my teenager take care of himself until this book was finished, that is how addictive this book was. Kady and Yeo were not just characters but people I needed to know what became of them. They were people to me not characters. That is how awesome K Webster is. This was a tough book to get thru but the author did a fantastic job—just going to say some may not like it or may not be able to finish it but again, please go into this book with an open mind and an open heart and you will be truly rewarded.
