What a great book that is short, sweet and full of plot. I was able to read this in a few hours and it kept me entertained which is something I greatly enjoyed. Dane finds himself in the "best friends" zone with Trisha. He would like to move it past that place but doesn't know how to do so. He wants her more than a friend, he finds her very attractive , more than that, he wants her badly. He makes sure he is in her life anyway he can be there. In fact, he is over at her place more than he is anywhere else. But there is something he has been holding back from his best friend, not sure how she will handle his secret---he is a shifter.
Trisha loves her BFF greatly but she has a secret. She is in love and lust with him. She doesn't want to ruin their friendship so she doesn't tell him how she wants to ravish his body. She keeps things in "the friend zone" so as that she doesn't ruin their friendship. His friendship is the one thing she has to depend on, especially when her fiancée lets her down . When that happens, her BFF is right there to pick her up. That is the awesome part of the story-- you factor in the cheater, the sexual tension, and the secrets--oh its a soap opera in a book--I loved the plot and the quick read I got. The ending was fantastic, especially how everything was wrapped up so quick.
