Beauty and the Billionaire:
The Wedding is a novella in the Billionaire Boys Club world and it is Book 6.5.
It is Hunter and Gretchen are
finally about to get ready and everything is down to the final preparations
but Gretchen is completely freaking out over all the final wedding details…down
to the last details. She keeps firing people and taking on their tasks by herself.
What possibly could go wrong??
Hunter is not even realizing Gretchen’s
dilemmas, however he is there for her whenever she needs him to do
something to help. Its just she doesn’t mention much about the wedding, she is
trying to keep things positive to show she can handle things so Hunter just
gives her help and to keep her sane. But then there is something going on with
Hunter when this mysterious woman shows up. Gretchen sees her and the item she
brings and wonders what is going on when Hunter doesn’t share what it is
between them. Now Gretchen has even more going on to worry about.
There is a great supporting
cast of characters in this book and a sub story regarding Daphne and her
recovery from being that drug addict. She , in the previous books, was so hated
and now in this books, I felt so bad for her because she really was trying. You
got to meet her life coach and trainer Wesley with whom she has deep feelings
for, more than just employer/employee type.
Her story will make you sit up and cheer.
There is also some quick
touch bases with some other prevuious characters from other books which was
great. It was like old home week and I loved how the novella story ended. There
was the buildup, the tension, angst, oh there definitely was humor and when it
all went down, it was awesome. The ending was just what was needed. I cannot
wait for the next book in this series. Kudos to Jessica Clare for writing such
books that grab my attention and keep it, for that’s hard to do. These
characters have a zest for life and yes, there is the angst and tension and
problems but by the end of the story, all is resolved and there is a HFN/HEA
resolution for the characters involved.
My rating: 4.5 stars ****
