What an entertaining read
set in Las Vegas. The MC keep you on the edge of your perch/chair/bed/tub while
reading their story as the story goes at times from a screwball comedy to this
steamy, erotic tome read that made me want to make Nate my book lover.
WOW! I really loved the book settings
(Las Vegas) and the chemistry between the MC.
Julia is in Vegas for a
romance writer’s convention while Nate is in Vegas due to his best friend
getting married. These two end up meeting, getting plastered and can’t remember
what happened after their drunken night together except waking up next to each
other.. and they were possibly married to each other.
The rest of this story
focused on them finding out what they did during that lost, drunken night.
Julia is very outgoing and sassy while Nate is (get ready) a divorce lawyer who
comes off as bitter and very cynical. But that’s not who he really is, its more
of how he copes with life and to prevent from everyone from getting really
close to him. Julia was able to get close , for once . As they spend time
together and get to know each other. Nate sees Julia is recovering from a
recent breakup and even though she seems so open to everything, she really isn’t
that way. There is more to his little princess than meets the eye. Then
flashbacks start to come into play. Oh and in between the flashbacks, we have
in the moment chemistry between the MC that are so HOT, my kindle was
dangerously close to melting. These two love bitter people are fighting their
feelings toward each other and the past but its only a matter of time before
they give in IF they trust in each other and the real feelings they have for
each other. BUT as that night comes flooding back into their brains, will they
allow that CRAZY night to change their love and the outcome of their lives or
will they let love in?
This was such a fantastic
love story with a twist on the #whathappensinvegas theme that I enjoyed the
twists and turns that the author plotted her way with. Poor Julia and Nate=
love was never easy I could see for them but I loved them as a couple together.
I was rooting for them, rooting that they get their HEA. And all I can say is,
if you love your romance novels hot, full of action, spicy, nutty, and deliciously
dangerous, then you need to read this book. This is one crazy good romance
novel that will prove HEA is where you want to end up.
