Paulina has come home after her boyfriend of 2 yrs breaks up with her. She then ends up going back home and finds herself meeting her next door neighbors Robb and George introduce themselves and she ends up falling apart in front of them. They help her to take her mind off her loss and focus on new “possibilities”. This was a great short story on that showed how two people can meet and let themselves open up to new things, new possibilities. And out of that possibility can possibly come come love. And there is a possibility that can come heartbreak –which is why I loved the premise for this story.
There was passion, hunger, desire, longing- what we got in this story was so much more. There was a ménage storyline that really was the bridge to the true story. Pauline came home to heal, and heal she did with the help of George and Robb her next door neighbors –but one of them is her new love. I wont say who is what to her and what the outcome was ; this story was great. It had so much promise and angst and desire . It was descriptive and gave me a lot of read—the only thing I would have liked would have been an epilogue that lets the reader know how Pauline and her guy end up. Other than that, what a great story, full of smut-if that is what you are seeking, you are in for a fantastic treat.
