WOW! This definitely has the smut factor in spades. In this book you meet Joel Hannover who knows how to get women to drop their panties and give it to him- anytime, anyplace, and anywhere. He is a smooth-talker, very charming and oh so conceited. He knows just what to say to the woman to get her to give it up. He is happy to be “that guy”- the jerk , the “$uck and leave em” type” until he meets the one- Quinn and she isn’t wanting anything to do with him. AND she can resist him, she doesn’t feel his charms in anyway. So then Joel is determined to do whatever to get her..anything to get to Quinn.
Panty Whisperer is made up of several shorts that Sloane Howell originally put out separately but has gone back and been expanded. There are plenty of laugh out loud moments, plenty of OMG sensual, passionate , erotic moments that are super HOT and there are lots of angst moments as well. We get to see Joel grow from the jerk of a man who didn’t care who he wrecked to the man who had fallen in love with Quinn and how he wanted her in his life Forever. There is also some great secondary characters like Tommy-his best friend and also Megan. Be prepared for the Star Wars references in this book- they are peppered throughout the story.
The ending of the book was fantastic – only thing I would have liked was the ending to be not so rushed but otherwise I enjoyed the laughs, the passion and the friendship in this story. The budding romance and the growth of each character was wonderful.
