This is a fantastic 2nd chance romance story set in a college setting. Whitney has always been so shy and none of the guys see her so she spends the summer redoing herself , eating the right foods and losing weight. She comes back to school looking great. She is now getting seen and recognized for her new look. She decides to try out for cheerleading, where her best friend is the head cheerleader. While there, Troy , star QB, sees Whitney and wants her. They start a beautiful relationship and fall in love but suddenly Whitney disappears and Troy is devastated. He doesn’t know what happened or where she went. There is a HUGE secret that Whitney is keeping as to why she left him. Go forward 5 years and they run into each other and THAT is when Whitney realizes it is time to let Troy know he has a daughter.
There are twists and turns, ups and downs, angst,, miscommunication, passion and overall LOVE. This was so compelling a read and I enjoyed seeing these two MC find their way back together. The passion was great and intense. I enjoyed this story and I cant wait to see what this author has next.
