WOW, I couldnt believe this story when I started reading. Elle is finally going back to her family after 5 years of exile and she is taking a vacation provided by a good friend. On the flight to Mexico, she meets this handsome and mysterious man who captures her eyes and soul. She is terrified of flying and the gentleman she was sitting with got off on the last leg of the flight and up comes this man to sit with her-what are the odds? He is the man who calls to her .He helps her with her fear of flying. She doesnt think she will see him again but They end up at the same resort. French Businessman Sinclair cant help but want this woman -there is something in his past that keeps him reserved with Elle--as a reader, I get a feeling its a doozy. These two are so addicted to each other immediately but they fight the feelings.
Sin wants Elle out of his system so he proposes a week long affair since after this vacation he says, they will never meet again. Elle isnt sure but she finally gives in and OMG- what a wild ride. The attraction and smouldering heat goes thru the roof. There is angst still between them because of how Sin treats Elle at times and as the reader, your heart will break for her. She doesnt know why he acts the way he does- hot one minute, extremely cold the next.
The "affair" ends but things are not done as the book alludes. I cannot wait for book 2 to find out for the next shoe to drop when everything becomes clearer. This is a trilogy and there is more than meets the eye coming up. I loved alpha Sin and sweet but innocent Elle. She has been hurt in the past by a man and it appears to be tied to someone in her immediate family. Hopefully book 2 will shed that light. And for Sin-OMG, he was super hot and so cold at times. He is a mess of a man about to explode. I cannot wait for book 2 to see where this book takes me next on this journey.
