This book is rich in the paranormal aspect and we see this
book is about Bo , a half demon and his employee Nyx, half Fae and half
something even more special-more”GODLY’.
Nyx has kept what she is from Bo and the people around her because she wants people to treat her normal. Nyx works at Bo’s bar and suddenly her mother shows up- guess who mommy dearest is ? Goddess of Chaos and she wants Nyx to pay back the favor she gave Nyx. Nyx has no choice but to honor it. But Bo refuses to let her go alone so he gets involved and said he will go with her-WOO HOO! Now it was getting good and tight. These two have such chemistry that it leapt off the page.
Nyx isn’t like her crazy family; she is the naïve one if you can use that word. She wants to do good in the world which is why she tried to get away from them. She is the innocent one in the bunch. Now Bo, he is ALPHA to the core & very protective—he wants to keep Ms Nyx safe. He isn’t sure why but he does. Now to find out what is going on with her family ---her family is trying to force her into a marriage she doesn’t want. The mission that they are sent on doesn’t seem kosher and Nyx is very correct in being worried but with Bo there with her, two against the world seems good.
Telling you anymore than this is going to give the book away but just know there are demons, family fights, passion, super drama and the two of them doing their utter best to keep alive. Nyx and Bo will come to realize what is important and in the end things will be realize that were not as clear as in the beginning. This was another awesome book in the Darkness series and I cannot wait for book 5 .
