"The Mafia & His
Obsession" is such a roller coaster ride of emotions. This
book has them all- angst, danger, drama, tension, forbidden passions, full of
pain, heartbreaking, sizzling and deeply touching. This is Viktor and Valerie’s
story--- Victor was introduced in the first book of the Tainted Hearts Series-
The Mafia and His Angel and I knew then he would be one man to watch in
this series. I am so excited to read his story. Viktor and Valerie are
two souls that are broken and they are drawn to each other and it seems that
they are good for one another, to help them mend each other while their
relationship sizzles and pops. Valerie
is the abused wife of Valentin Solonik—she is a woman who is unable to speak
and to heart. Valerie is beautiful by how broken she is and she is quite
broken, due to the abuse she suffered. Viktor doesn’t come off as broken but he
really is –But that doesn’t stop him from having an alpha disposition. He is
sexy, intense, obsessive, and at times shockingly sweet. Viktor would
move the world to protect Valerie and in this book, there is some deep
emotional growth by Viktor. This book has twists and turns that left this book
on a epic cliffhanger. I am dying to read book 2 in this series.
