Jack and Bailey’s story has been in the works since Sweet Dreams. This short and sweet novella goes deeper into the lives of the main characters, especially getting to know more about heroine Bailey. Jack and Bailey are complete opposites but sometimes opposites can be the added spice to a relationship. Jack and Bailey have a love/ hate relationship. You’d think that they would try to avoid each other, go their own way and stay far away from each other but there is no getting away from the electric pull they both feel whenever they are around one another. Jack wants to pursue something with Bailey, but he doesn’t think she is the right woman for him. He wants someone who will welcome him home after a long shift with a home cooked meal, with tons of affection and someone who will be there for him thru the rough shifts/times yet Jack doesn’t think this is Bailey at all. All he sees is this high maintenance woman, a woman who isn’t really his type. But what if Jack is wrong? Will Jack see the real Bailey before things are too late and will Bailey let Jack into her life and come clean on things? Only way to find out is to read this sweet, sassy, feel good read!
