BUCKLED: Is the second book in P. Godwin's ‘Trails of Sin' series. It
picks up where the first book left off. This is Jarret and
Maybe’s story. Jarret encounters Maybe at their local drinking spot, he’s got
his back up, he assumes she’s a journalist and he is determined to
hold everything close to his chest and protect those he loves, no matter who
gets hurt in the process. Even if that means sassy, sexy, sweet Maybe is one of
the casualties. To Jarrett, she is forbidden-one of temptations greatest and
she may be the one thing that could destroy his family. What Jarret doesn’t know
is that Maybe has secrets of her own that she’s not willing to share. She's has
lost everything and she thinks Jarret holds the answers to all her questions;
she's not about to give up until she finds out all she seeks. This
book isn’t as dark as the first book but it is full of angst- it is an angsty
romance- full of the steam, the heat, the darkness, the angst, the forbidden,
the pain, the kinky, the secrets. This is one story that you do not want
to miss out on. I am eagerly awaiting book 3 because the hero and heroine have
been introduced in book 2 and OMG- I am practically doing my hurry up and get
here dance, its gonna be that good. This is a really good romantic suspense
story with great big sizzle/steam running all thru this story.
