WICKED BRIDE
GAMES is a book that is told in a Dual POV. This book does come with a warning to readers
“that some readers may find some content offensive”. Read away at your own knowing of this
warning.
There is a Prologue to
this book that sets the stage and
lets the readers know what sort of book you are in for. One that is rough , gritty and emotional. I thought I knew
but I really didn’t know anything about this book and I am so glad because this
book took me on a roller coaster journey thru all that went on. Wicked
Bride Games is so unpredictable because the moment you think you
have figured it all out, you truly haven’t and everything will flip on a dime
and turns upside down again, then your off and running. This is truly one
mindfreak of a journey and I loved it!!!!
Naomi Lee is truly a mystery
as a main character. She comes off as this innocent but is she really? Her
story starts off as having just lost her job and is in desperate need of money
to help pay for her father's healthcare. Her
number one priority has always been to help support for his care. Then she receives a letter from a mystery man telling
her to meet with him. That is how
this story starts for Naomi and how she ends up meeting Max, one of the 3
brothers. There is a game afoot and she
is part of it but doesn’t know it yet. Max is so real in this book. He comes
across as someone I could read and know what he was thinking and wanting and
what he wanted from word one was Naomi. As soon as he saw her, he wanted her.
The Twisted Thing is, he is one of three brothers and the three brothers are
sort of pulled into this weird and twisted search to secure a wife and heir.
Max knows Naomi is it for him but the other brothers have found other women and
in total 9 girls were targeted due to their currently financial
struggles and there is a
background to the other womens’ stories as to why they agreed to the “Brides
Games” and let me tell you, its brutal and wicked. The women entering the house
do not understand what is at play here but in order to become a wife, you must
become something first and by hook or crook, Max is determined to make Naomi
this to make her his.
Oh my God, this story had so many layers, so many twists and turns. It
edges outside of erotic romance and very much into the dark romance realm. There is intrigue and mystery, sex and
passion but there is also death and destruction. There is so much at play here,
so much going on that it will blow your mind. There is , from what I can tell ,
another book that will be coming out and I definitely will want to read Hyun’s
story. If you like dark romances with a
wicked and a bit of a nasty twist, you will love Wicked Bride Games.
