CROWN OF LIES is
a angsty, romantic suspense filled book that can and will play with your
emotions and your senses. I want to try
and be as spoiler free as I can , but if I am not as good at it, please
understand, this is one fabulous book and I cannot wait for book 2 in this
series. Crown of Lies is
the first book in the Truth and Lies Duet. The book gives you a huge
taste in a YA contemporary intrigue which also has a HUGE amount of suspenseful romance . Noelle Charlston is
the heiress to Belle Elle a New York Department Store Empire. She believes in love and that everyone
loves her—not expecting there is someone out there gunning for her, for her
wealth and to cause her pain. Oh and there is a lot going on-Elle is
lonely. So she decides to take
herself in hand and that is when the winds of her fate are changed forever. I don’t
want to give too much away. Someone saved her or did he ? Years later, Elle is
still lonely but she remembers the boy who saved her life and her father is
pushing a man at her so she will settle down when that boy suddenly comes back
into her life. At the same time there is this secretive and assertive man who
pushes his way into her life. He won’t
leave Elle alone and then there is Penn--He is arrogant and very
cocky. 2 different men, two different outcomes. OMG and the book ended on an
epic cliffhanger. Let me tell you, what you think you may know, you have no
clue! This is sooo freaking good. I cant wait for the book in this duet.
