Jade has increasingly less to say about herself as time goes on, other than the fact she is an author, but she’s happy with this fact. 

Living in imaginary realities and having a legitimate excuse for it is really all she’s ever wanted. 

Jade is as dirty as you’d expect from her novels, and talking smut makes her smile. 

She lives in the Herefordshire countryside with a couple of hounds and a guy who’s able to cope with her inherent weirdness. 

She has a red living room, decorated with far more zebra print than most people could bear and fights a constant battle with her addiction to Coca-Cola.

MY REVIEW:

Call me Daddy is one forbidden and kinky taboo naughty taboo read. The author Jade West does put a warning at the start of the book, letting readers know this may not be their cup of tea just by the title of the book. But I have to say this was definitely up my alley and I completely enjoyed the tale this author wrote.

Laine is a virgin on her 18th birthday who was left along by her mother so she went out with her friend Kelly-Anne to celebrate. And then that “friend” ends up leaving her alone too out where they were celebrating. That is the story of her young life. Abandoned and left alone. So here she is is, alone with no funds and no way to get home when she is rescued by Nick, this older man who is like a knight in shining amour. Now Nick is this older, more seductive man who has seem more of the world and what he sees of Laine, he likes yet he wants to protect her and this all starts with him just wanting to save her and get her home. He ends up taking her to his home for the night until he can get her back to her friend the next day. His best intentions are what he sticks with and in the morning he plans to return her to her safe and normal world yet due to events beyond the MC control, that doesn’t happen exactly.

The story progresses from there and what we get is this  dirty, yummy, Daddy-kink story that I totally loved. There is a plot, good story line, action, oh yes and a lot of smut but it wasn’t written to just be written. This is a good story that tells the story of a naive Laine and her older white knight Nick and how true love can be found when it was least expected. Oh and expect some betrayals to come to the forefront in this story when the MC least expected it. I loved how it was handled and how growth came from it. This is not so much a HEA but a HFN storyline. I would love to read a followup on how Nick and Laine are doing. I loved reading a daddy-kink storyline and hope the author writes more storylines like this.
