ARC Revuew of Everywhere and Every Way (Billionaire Builders #1) by Jennifer Probst

This is my first time reading this author and I am amazed at what a good story this is. I enjoyed how engrossed I was in this story-start to finish . Everywhere and Every Way  had me from within the first pages of the book and I couldn’t stop reading until the very end.

This is like Property Brothers but hotter, spicier –In this new series, we have three brothers who separated and went out on their own way, their own lives due to their father. They end up back together because of the will their father left. The fate of their father’s business is in their hands –The three brothers are so different, it’s like night and day. There is Caleb Pierce , the oldest of the three "Billionaire Builder" brothers; then there is Tristan and Dalton, the other brothers- there is so much tension between the brothers, its hard to see how they get work done or even co-exist with all that tension that is there between them. As I read, I wondered would they ever get that bond back between them and go back to being brothers.

Into this comes Morgan Raines- a high-end home designer, who hires Pierce Brothers to build a custom home for one her famous clients. Morgan comes across as very sassy, sweet and southern. To Cal, she comes across as a know it all and prissy. Yet there is spark, this chemistry between this from the first interaction. He sees as she works alongside the guys that she isn’t as bad as he thought she was. Cal wears down Morgan with his brand of sexiness and they end up having an affair because Cal doesn’t think he can go any further than that and Morgan is afraid he will not be able to go any further with her.

With everything go on-family drama, miscommunication, work issues, dating drama-this story comes across with so much than what I initially thought it would be. Morgan and Cal are awesome as a couple fighting their feelings, then we have the two other brothers who I would love to get to see their lives and see what their love stories are(Tristian and Dalton). This has laughs, love, passions, angst, anger, hurt, heartbreak and in the end, true love. I really enjoyed this new series “Billionaire Builders and the love story /renewal of the brothers bond . This is one contemporary romance that I really found myself sad that ended. I cannot wait for the next book in this series.

ARC Revuew of Desiring Red (A Dark and Dirty Tale) by Kristin Miller

This was one Steamy HOT book that grabbed my attention from the first several pages. Desiring Red is new by Kristin Miller in her paranormal wolves saga and is a steamier read than from her previous works. This is one of the brand new books from the Scorched line from publisher Entangled Publishing and I have to say-WOW, it really does scorch you when reading the intensity and the passion from the MC involved.

Here we have Ivy who is brand new to the Arcana Wolf Pack and she has come to be presented to them before she shifts. She promised her parents she would do this and now that they are no longer living, she especially wants to honor their wishes but she is terrified she mistake. Ivy is considered a pre-shifter and the “pre shifters” must meet with the alpha for the first time. There is this thing where he can keep them for as long as he chooses to. Ivy hasn’t met Lukas yet and she is in a tizzy over what he will think of her. Ivy ends up in the rose garden, trying to calm down when she runs into the sexiest man ever who touches her soul with this spark that she has never felt before. There is the immediate sensual spell woven between them when this man, Reaper, touches her, Ivy has never felt like this , ever , before.

Reaper has been away from his pack for awhile, looking for the person(s) who murdered his parents. His grandmother, the Omega has called him home to help her with something to do with the pack. His being back looks to be temporary but when he saw Ivy in the garden he felt this pull to her and went down to meet her. Repaer knew he shouldn’t have touched her because she was his cousin, the alpha’s  until he had made his choice but he couldn’t help this pull he felt toward her.

Ivy thought her and Reaper had something going and that her meeting the alpha would be ok, that he wouldn’t want her. Well, that isn’t quite what happned. She met the alpha and that was an experience in itself. Lukas was not what she was expecting and Ivy is left uncertain by this encounter. What is going on? Lukas isn’t the bad guy that she thought, he seemed to have this magic about him, all she knows is she is drawn to Reaper and his touch as well.

The book ending an an epic cliffhanger; also this is a short book, like 55 or 56 pages so even with it being this short, it packs a huge punch. I loved this story and I cannot wait to see what Ms. Miller has coming up next because the Reaper/Ivy/Lukas triangle has me quite intrigued. This paranormal hotness of a story is something I do quite enjoy and am ready to read more of .

ARC Review of Only for a Night (Lick #1) by Naima Simone

Lawd, this story will have you alternating between turning the fan on to get rid of the overwhelming heat generated by the story and then reaching for tissues due to the heartbreak that the MC experienced/went thru. This is a short yet so emotionally packed read filled with sexual tension and eroticism throughout this novella/story. Rion Ward is an ex mob guy who now owns his own legal business(es) when a blast from his past comes back into his life and into his sex club Lick--Harper Shaw . She was the one who has always haunted him.

Harper lost her baby several years back and now she is a widow. She is coming out of deep freeze and the only man she ever wanted, truly wanted back then and now for sex-really for anything was Rion but he turned her away. Harper isn’t going to give up and tries again now , thinking he wouldn’t possibly turn her away again. What we see is this intricate shifting between this couple- how he wants but is afraid ; how she pushes but is afraid. It’s a push and pull until suddenly everything is broken. Will Rion wake up to the fact his love is there willing to fight for him, and will Harper be willing to fight for their love?

This is a great start to a new storyline that Entangled Publishing is starting called Scorched and this is one book is from the 1^st of the new start of that line. I truly enjoyed this series and this books feels like it ends on a HFN ending which maybe there will be a wrap up or more about Rion and Harper sometime down the road. I know there is more to their story. For this being the first, it is a really awesome start and I cannot wait to read more from the author and publisher with books like this.
