The Red Ledger #1 by Meredith Wild is Part 1 in a 6 part series. This is romantic suspense at its best. Isabel has never gotten over her one true love, especially at that young age. She has tried for years to move on but just can’t seem to get past that terrible loss of Tristan. Now she is in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil trying to find a way to heal her heart and move past that huge loss that still rules her heart and life years later. But when her former lover, Tristan Stone, reappears suddenly back in her life she realizes the man she knew is not the same man from years before. He has lost his memory and has no memory of his past or of Isabel or his past as an assassin. Now there is an enemy heading straight for them, will Isabel be able to help Tristan with unlocking his buried memories ? This is one romantic suspense read that is full of angst, heartbreak, addiction, heat, explosive chemistry, romance and action. This will have you gripping the edge of your seat until the very last page. Ms. Wild has got a certified hit on her hands and I cant wait to see what happens in book 2.
