Bless me,
Father, for I have sinned.
That was
how it all started.
With my
father. Her father.
Their sins.
Our sins.
The sins of
our past.
Our love
could break us.
Their power
could destroy us.
But I would
die trying.
She would
die fighting.
The men who
took her would pay.
Blood would
be spilled.
Lives would
be shattered.
I vowed to
end them.
All of
them.

****MY REVIEW *****
The Ultimate Sin is the 2nd
installment in the Sins of the Past series. You must read The First Sin book 1
before reading Ultimate Sin book 2. These are not standalone reads.
This book starts off were things were left off in The First Sin
with Gia. Gia is held captive and not sure what is going on or
who holds her hostage. Gia realizes she must endure things, must do everything
she can to survive in order to make it back alive to Angelo. Only thing
is, when she gets out will he be the same boy she remembers or will her Angelo
be darker due to her absence, will he be someone she doesn’t remember due to
all that has gone down? This is an edgier and raw read due to all that has goes
down, things get ugly, and things are painful and raw in book 2. For some
characters, a dark journey they go on and it either changes them for the better
or changes them for the worst. Souls come out re-birthed or come out even more
soulless than before. Relationships are broken or more strengthen. And yes,
their families are still doing their best to keep the lovers apart by any means
necessary. Only thing is, does it work or do they come out even stronger
together instead of apart? Best way to find out is to read book 2 in the Sins
of the Past series. I seriously love this new series and cant wait for
book 3 to find out what happens…for this ends in another crazy cliffhanger.
My Rating: 4.6 stars *****
