Vegas Morellis is the new series by Sam Mariano. Staying in Vegas is the first book in the new series and it starts off with a huge bang. Let me say, this is not romance and swoony love type book. It is full of heartbreak, twist and turns, mind games and steamy mafia goodness just ready to take the reader for a wild ride. In this book we meet Rafe and Laurel and the story shows us that they have met before. We get to see their reconnection here in Vegas. But before we get to caught up in them getting all cozy, there is a new player in the game-- his name is Sin and he is Rafe's enforcer. What we happen in the story is this crazy triangle between Laurel, Rafe, and Sin . I wasn’t prepared to fall in love with all the characters in this book. I loved the red-hot chemistry, the crazy angst, the witty banter. I enjoyed every interaction they had with one another up until the very end and OMG, when I got to that crazy ending, I seriously needed to know what happened like yesterday. Ms. Mariano did a fantastic job with writing a dark and delicious romance that had me on the edge of my seat until the last word was on the page. I don’t know who I am rooting for, for Laurel’s hand but what I do know this is a seriously insane new series, one that needs to be read and made a MUST READ.
