Born and raised around Houston Texas, Jessica spent most of her life complaining about the heat, humidity, and all around pain in the ass weather. It was only as an adult that she quickly realized the cost of living in Houston made up for not being able to breathe when she stepped outside. That’s why God created central air, after all.
Jessica is the mother of a perfect little boy–she refuses to accept that he inherited her attitude and sarcastic nature no matter what her husband says.
In addition to being a wife and mom, she’s also a wino, a coffee addict, and an avid lover of all types of books–romances still being her all time favs. Her husband likes to claim that reading is her obsession but she just says it’s a passion…there’s a difference. Not that she’d expect a boy to understand.
Jessica has been writing since she was a little girl, but thankfully grew out of drawing her own pictures for her stories before ever publishing her first book. Because an artist she is not.

***** MY REVIEW *******
Defile is the second book in
the Civil Corruption series and it is a fantastic followup to Corrupt. This is Tate
and Declan’s story and what a story this was. Tatum and Declan were best
friends as kids and progressed into lovers in high school. They were the
forever in love, forever together type of couple until Declan’s band hit
the bigtime and Declan made some stupid, immature choices at that time in his
life. His choices caused him to completely break Tatum’s heart badly and they haven’t
spoken in 10 years. Fast forward 10
years and tragedy brings them back together. WOW, just the heat, the passion,
the angst, the drama, the anger, the heartbreak and pain, the hope and the love
that this story contains is amazing!!!! There were moments in this story that
had me so angry at Declan and my heart breaking for Tatum. This is a great 2nd
chance romance because when Deck sees Tatum again 10 years later,
this man knows its time to get his woman back and that is what this story is
about- 2nd chances and forgiveness. Tatum's strength is
awesome in this story- she went thru some pretty hard and terrible times yet
she did everything she could to make that her past, not her future. Declan can
be a huge jerk; he knows it yet when it comes to making everything up to Tatum
for the past, he is willing to do anything and that is the man I came to love
in this story, not the jerk. There are some twists and turns that take this
story to different places yet the ending was phenomenal. I cant wait to read
the other guys’ stories--- Ms. Prince has a fantastic way of making her
characters relatable and likeable even when they arent the nicest (aka Deck).
She writes her stories and when reading , you are hooked and you will never
want to come up for air. This is a MUST READ!!!
My Rating: 4.7 stars *****
