of stories featuring stories that leave you breathless with desire. The 8
authors in this collection are my favorites and I was overjoyed to see all of
them in this collection bringing the alpha men together for some hot action and
heat.
”MALFEASANCE” by
K. Webster – This features a May/December erotic romance
that will steam up your kindle. The hero is about 31 years older than the
heroine. Max is a fifty-two-year-old Judge who hasn’t been with anyone
since his wife died several years before. He has been busy taking care of his
teenage daughters. One night he ends up
at a sex club with a friend and he sees this beautiful blonde “waitress” who
looks familiar to him. Suddenly he is hit with where he knows her—She was in
his court room a year ago when he announced the “not guilty” verdict of her brutal
ex-boyfriend. Max knew the ex bf was very guilty yet the jury took
the judgement out of his hands when they
found him not guilty . He has no other
choice and that has haunted him. Later that night as he is leaving, he
sees the same waitress, the same woman from the courthouse a year ago being
attacked by her stalker ex-boyfriend so he quickly gets involves , jumps in and
saves her . Dorian has spent the
past year running from her ex boyfriend who has stalked her while trying to get
her life back on track after all she has been thru. She has learned to keep
herself hidden and not tell anyone much of anything because her ex would find
out and then she would have to move and be on the run. Max saves her this night and because of her
situation, offers his cabin to her so she can get away from her ex. While there, this huge insane chemistry is building between them.
Max thinks Dorian wont want to be involved yet she feels so much for Max and definitely
wants to. Dorian finds him super sexy and quickly some of the hottest love
scenes happen in this story. Will Max
risk everything for Dorian or will he help her and move on ? This is one story that has huge action,
some pretty awesome sexy scenes and a great ending. K Webster knows how to get
the older man/ younger woman genre storyline going and here was a great example
of it working great. My rating: 5 stars
”FIFTH AVENUE
BLUES” by Jade West --- Jade
West wrote such a smutty story and I love
her for it!!! Kyle Prescott is a famous British actor who has some
pretty awesome bedroom skills- his bedroom skills made be better than his
acting skills IMO. Emily Foster is the
shy and quiet Librarian who used to be classmates with Kyle all
the way back in High School. She really crushed hard on him back in the day in
HS. They shared a kiss at a party while in high school but she got scared and
ran off. She thought he was playing with her or drunk or something so she blew
off the kiss thinking that he totally forgot about it and her when he really didn’t.
Emily has self esteem issues even now years later. So fast forward yrs later and Kyle is back in
town and he runs into Emily. Kyle has a huge chance at a television
series playing a leading role but he needs help…Emily’s help. Kyle is dyslexic
and Emily was the only one who had successfully helped him in the past.
Emily is leery to get involved with Kyle but she gives in. It is literally
several pages into the story before Emily is dropping drawers for Kyle, for he
is that good. Kyle unleashes Emily’s
dirty girl side and he shows her there is nothing to be afraid of. When Kyle
has to leave town after a few days…will Emily be with him or will she stay in
town? This actually has a sweet sexy side to it on top of the smutty side. Kyle
and Emily make this sweet couple and I loved all they went thru to come out on
top. I loved the ending for it was totally worth all they went thru. My rating: 4.8 stars
Bad Cop by A.
Zavarelli- This is a 2nd
chance love story. Ginger is
not well liked by the town and the hero, Justice, hates her guts. Justice hates
what she did to him when they were teens and this has carried over to current
times. Ginger has come home to open a business and she has never stopped loving
Justice . She knows she isn’t liked/loved yet she has to try to open this
business. She doesn’t have a dollar to her name and her reputation seems to be
in shreds. Things happen while she is trying to open her business which borders
on harassment and I felt for her. There are things Justice didn’t know which
would change his tune toward Ginger yet he refused to listen and I was
frustrated with Ginger for not pushing the issue and telling him, for letting
pride get in the way. The angst and passion between the two was electric. I
loved the outcome and wish this was a full length story, that is how fantastic
this novella was. My rating: 5 stars
Infatuation by Willow Winters -- Alec lured Lila to the island but why? There are
secrets that are hidden. What purpose would he have to do this? Not much really
given as to why. It seemed to be short, super short. Lila is sent to Alaska to interview the rich man about Ketchikan,
the island. There are secrets swirling about . Very Mysterious. It just stopped
–there was no epilogue so I don’t know what happened. I would have liked to
know what happened. I loved how it started but I needed more out of this. My
rating :4.0 stars
DR. DREAMY by LJ
SHEN—
Dr Rhys Mathews
makes Dr McDreamy look McDreary. He is so sexy and handsome. He is very alpha
and he wants his way all the time. The heroine Savannah doesn’t like that and
she makes sure to show Rhys that he cant have his way all the time. She just
started working for him as a receptionist in his office practice. Their chemistry leaps off the pages. The heat
is easily seen –the heroine definitely makes sure to show her sassy and sweet
side. Not full of angst but there are some angsty moments. I loved this and I
WISH my son’s pediatrician looked
like him when he was a kid. This is most definitely a 5 star read. My rating: 5 stars
Date Night -Isabella
Starling --
Cleo and Flynn are
a unique couple , especially with their sexual tastes in the bedroom. This
story is one that must be experienced while read. There is mystery and suspense
on top of the intense sexual passion. I wasn’t sure what to make of this story
but I very much liked it after reading
this a few times. Ms. Starling writes some of the best stories out there right
now. My rating :4.5 stars
ONE NIGHT by K. L. Kreig - Two strangers meet at this bar and end
up having this passionate night together. They have this immediate and
explosive connection but they both had a past full of pain so nothing ever came
of that one night together. Fast forward
4 years- Bennett Montgomery has never forgotten about the woman he
met and had a magical connection with yet let go out of his life like smoke.
Then suddenly he hears this voice and suddenly realizes it’s the woman that has
never left his thoughts, his dreams- the woman who has haunted him the past 4 years--
Saine Campbell. Saine Campbell
has never forgotten Bennett yet wonders if he would remember her. They run into
each other and its like 4 years never happened and the heat and the chemistry sets them on fire. They each
remember how that one night gave them peace during that rough period in their
lives yet can they make a go of it now? This is a beautiful and emotional 2nd
chance novella. I Loved reading Saine and Bennett together. Their heart and
Passions set this story ablaze. My
rating: 5.0 stars
THE BILLIONAIRE'S BEGINNING by M. Never -- Simone
Travers and Ty Winters come from two families that are sworn
enemies –they once were business partners and some would say friends but now ,
they hate each other( the families that is). Ty sees Simone one day and
falls hard for her. He wants her and will have her…only thing is, Ms. Sassy
herself- Simone. She is aloof and doesn’t date. She has a painful past, yet Ty isn’t
going to let her push him out of her life. He is determined to be in her life
no matter what. I loved that his alpha-ness comes out and he shows Simone that
he is there for her. The passion and love is there on Ty’s end immediately while
Simone is fighting her demons and trying to figure what to do. M Never has a
fantastic novella here , wish this was longer. My rating: 4.6 stars
