Drunk On You is Harper Sloan's fourth release from her Hope Town series and this features Nikki and Shane who we met in When I’m With You (BK3). They were very much on my mind in that book as secondary characters who lit up the pages and I was super excited to see they were getting their on book .
In this book, we see both Nikki and Shane dealing with crazy exes who are from heck, and also both are realizing they have this attraction towards one another. And what an insane, hot and steamy attraction it is. If you read the previous book in this series, you could see glimpses but definitely this book shows you what promise they have but its not without angst. Each has pain in their past which could hurt their future together..
I want to say that I loved Nikki so much—she made this book fun and her sassy mouth had me in stiches thru the book. She didn’t take gruff from much anyone and when she fell, hard for Shane, she gave it all after the heck she went thru with her ex who cheated on her. It took her a long time to finally open her heart and I am so so glad I was able to go on her journey and read about it. And OMG Shane…….He was such a sexy, steamy sweetheart of a God! But he has a lot of pain and demons in his past which could hurt him in his new relationship with Nikki…..will they get the HEA they both deserve? This is one story you have to read. I love Harper Sloan and I cannot say enough awesome good things about this story. This is a do not miss read!!
