This is the 3rd book in The
Whiskey Hill Ranch Series. It can be read as a standalone but just
to let you know, people and events will have a better meaning to
you if you read or have read the previous two books in this series. In book 3,
we get Ridge and Alison's story.
Ridge was forced into seclusion
after being smeared in the tabloids by a pop star he guarded so he came home to
lick his wounds in private. He ended up working for one of his friends --Ash
and Stella--as an assistant and head of security of the ranch. Suddenly his
life in seclusion is broken up when Allison, New York Journalist/
photojournalist, arrives at the ranch to conduct a follow up interview
with Ash. Sparks fly between Allison and Ridge but the manly
Ridge fights it and refuses to give in to the desire and sparks that fly
between them. It takes alittle help from Ash and Stella before these two get on
the right path toward happiness .
I loved getting to see Ash
and Stella again but what was really get was reading the courtship between
Ridge and Allison. It was sexy, sassy, emotional and soul baring beautiful. Ms.
Rose writes such fantastic romances that make me feel as though I know
these characters and they are real
people, that is how connected the characters feel each and every time I read
her romances. The storylines are great and the romances sizzles hot.
