Breaking the Billionaire's Rules by Annika Martin is the story of Max Hilton and Mia Corelli. Max and Mia were enemies in high school, each playing practical jokes on one another. Fast forward 10 years later, Max has become this world known and successful business man and Mia is a working actress still trying to make big. The first part of the book is told in Mia’s POV which I totally loved, but I was jonsing for Max’s POV so when it finally happened, I was jumping for joy!! Mia and Max' story starts off slow- theirs is a slow burn romance. The book , for me, really took off when we find out the what, the how, the who and the why of what really happened in high school between Mia & Max, and why did Max write "the book". You won't believe it until you read it with your eyes. Mia is such a beautiful, fierce, sassy,intelligent and sweet woman. I loved how she matched wits with Max. Max wasn't what I thought he would be. He was smart, handsome, and brooding man. This story has so many feels that occurred.
This story has low angst with such awesome humor. I loved the fast pace this book gave along with great main characters and secondary characters. Terrific read!!
