Awesomesauce, Alexa Riley has put together “Taking the Fall: the Full complete series” into one whole book. It definitely feels like Christmas time!! I remember when the books started coming out several years ago. Alexa Riley was a relatively new author who was an immediate auto buy. I loved her series then and she is now a powerhouse author who continues to write her possessive alpha males and her innocent, sassy heroines with those insta- love themes that makes her still my #1 auto buy each and every time.
Fall into Place is two love stories in this book and it tells the unique 2nd chance love story of Carter and Layla, whom he calls “Cherry”.I have to say, This is one of my favorite stories in this book. Carter is a man fighting for his life back- for a chance to get his woman back in his life. OMG as I said, this was one of my favorite, if not, my favorite stories in this book. Full of action, passion and angst.
Falling In- this tells the story of Jeanette and Saint . Jeanette is Layla’s BFF and Saint is Carter’s best friend. Their story is full of angst and turmoil but also it reminds me of Carter and Layla’s story too. I really enjoyed this story too.
Fall Into Place- is actually 2 stories in one. This is the story of the children from the main characters in the first two stories. Mary & Anthony & Samuel & Nika--- Anthony is Saint and Jeanette's son while Mary is Carter and Layla's daughter. They grew up together and their story is so sweet and sexy, it will almost give you a cavity it’s that good. They were each other’s ONE for years …but how to handle the ‘rents. The 2nd story is Samuel and his Nika. Samuel is Mary's twin and I have to say, Samuel is very much like his dad. The passion and action is at a good level here , full of sweet and sexy action and passion so this was like my 3rd favorite in this series. Love the kids of the Fall.
And finally the last in this series-- The Final Fall is Viktor and his Angel London. Viktor has had his eyes for the last year on the preacher's daughter, London watching her every move –I mean he watches everything about her. Then suddenly one day she is gone so Viktor goes into a panic when she isn’t where she normally is and calls Saint…he finds her for Viktor and he finds her. London was so excited to finally see her mystery man in person , she opens her arms and her life up to him. This is beautiful, short, sizzling read that finishes up the Taking the Fall series. What a way to end the series with this erotic and sizzling short read. This was my 2nd favorite book in this series. To be honest, I loved them all so much and was sad this series ended. The characters will forever stay in my heart. AR did an outstanding job and I cant wait to see what they write next!
