This is book 4 in the Royals
series -- In Fallen Heir Easton Royal
is now the reigning King of the school and is back to his fight club, playboy
ways. He sees the school as his personal property and his to do with as he
wants and to whatever he wants in, that is until Hartley Wright transfers
to the school. She doesn’t care for Easton and she is all about staying out of
his clutches and just going to and from school. She doesn’t care for drama ,
just wants to live her life on her terms without all that has gone on her in
past. Easton finds Hartley is unique and he wants to be all up in her business.
They are, at first, like oil and water, clashing yet underneath all that, they
really do connect and there is this heat and chemistry with them. They fought
but it was more about seeing about staying power—if this new relationship was
true or BS. It really was truer than they either realized at first. Hartley just wanted Easton to grow up, to
quit fighting and take on more responsibility --Easton thinks she could
actually be onto something. For the 1st time in his life, she gives
him purpose, makes him calm and gives him reason to be a better person. Being a
Royal isn’t about wearing the crown, its about the struggles you face and how
you handle it. Easton was quite the royal screw-up but he isn’t all what
he outwardly shows himself to be. There is a lot of pain in his past which led
him to act out.
There is so many twists and
turns in this story. Hartley and Easton’s relationship was drama filled, so
many things will leave impressions and the climactic cliffhanger was a who mama
of a ending. Was anything resolved with Easton and Hartley’s HEA? No, you will
have to read to find out.
Warning: This book has a cliffhanger. The story will be resolved in Cracked Kingdom, due out January 2018.”
