My Review :
SAVAGE MAFIA PRINCE: This is the story of the long lost brother Kiro- who has been missing from his family since he was a baby, stolen in the night and has never been seen since. Kiro was sold in an illegal adoption ring and doesn’t have any memories of his brothers that are looking for him, they will never give up until the three are reconnected again.
When we get into the story, we read about Patient 34 the man with no name, but we know him as Kiro. He is being held hostage in restraints in a mental institute where they say he is very dangerous and criminally insane where he being heavily sedated and restrained. Ann is an undercover reporter working as a nurse at the institute when Kiro is kept. Even though she is working on a different story, something about Kiro and his story call to her. Ann pays attention on everything that happens in there and around. And that’s how she realizes that Patient 34, aka Kiro’s drugs are not “working” . So she starts digging into his past and why he is there . There connection is instant and their chemistry is hot and deep. I have to say though, you can tell that they do not get comfortable with each other until midway into the story, there is no trust but slowly it starts to make appearances. The enemy in the story starts to focus on Ann after her poking around sets off a chain reaction and now wants Ann in this place, just like they have Kiro. We get to see the story played out in POV format and wow is it in a suspenseful, passionate, angsty , desire, at times hopeless yet turns around with more hope emotions.
Kiro is a very deep character who , when we read this story, his layers are peeled back one by one until we get, well, get what we can, who Kiro is. I don’t even think Kiro knows who he truly is. Yey I loved the author’s writing of Kiro and his emotions and feelings. He was possessive, dark, brooding, intense and quiet. There was such a pail of loneness of him due to his past yet he did what he could to overcome. Then we have Ann, wow she was a spitfire. She was full of life and spirt and she was the yang to Kiro’s yen. –they compliment each other and their coming together was awesome.
As a story, this was an awesome addition to to the series. It is dark, intriguing, passionate, erotic, suspenseful, full of love and a story that has redemption. I was completely satisfied with this addition to the series.
