Only it’s not blowing over. Far from it. It seems every woman in the village wants themselves a five-mechanic sandwich.
They make no qualms about it, either. Just rock on up to my café counter and ask how they can book themselves in for a Bang Gang special. Like I would know.
I definitely wouldn’t know. I hardly even know Darren Trent anymore. We split up a lifetime ago.
I definitely don’t think about him late at night. Don’t think about five mechanics and me as much as every other woman in this village.
And even if I did, I wouldn’t act on it. I wouldn’t draw the money from my savings account and have a go for myself.
And even if I did that. I definitely, definitely wouldn’t fall for him. Not again. Not after everything we went through. Not after splitting up the first time nearly brought me to my knees.
Not after settling into a decent routine, the girls and me, with no drama, no heartbreak, no crazy passions to rock the calm little boat we’re sailing on.
I mean, who would be stupid enough to risk all that over a hot, sweaty, oily bit of rough like Darren Trent?

Living in imaginary realities and having a legitimate excuse for it is really all she’s ever wanted.
Jade is as dirty as you’d expect from her novels, and talking smut makes her smile.
She lives in the Herefordshire countryside with a couple of hounds and a guy who’s able to cope with her inherent weirdness.
She has a red living room, decorated with far more zebra print than most people could bear and fights a constant battle with her addiction to Coca-Cola.
My Review:
Darren & Jodie are stuff
that will make your romance dreams come true. Darren Trent is every woman's
dream while Jodie is the innocent and hardworking heroine that all women
can identify with. This story will entertain you, as it did me and will draw
you in. It has hot sex, chemistry, angst, passion and emotional battles. Only Ms.
West can write a story like this- Knowing that the ex-boyfriend (Darren) is a male gigolo who offers his services to
horny women and he has gotten together with this nasty bit of goods woman named
Lorraine and they end up going into business and that business is
servicing women at his garage alongside his 4 trusty mechanics, hence the Bang
Gang. What looks like a book to be able horny women transcends about the
relationship between Darren and his ex, Jodie and their history. Its emotional,
deep and passionate and filled with a lot of angst. What past relationship isn’t?
They have two beautiful daughters but their relationship has gone thru these
ups and downs…when Jodie finds out about his side business, she is livid and
hurt. The story starts off one way but goes thru this metamorphosis on Trent
and Jodie’s love story and how they overcome the barriers that prevented them
from being together…and one of those was a villain so vile, I hated this
person. Oh this villain was slick and composed but underneath, was so nasty and
icky, I wanted to smack this person several times. Trent and Jodie had to work
on their relationship and while they did that, their sex was hot. You weren’t expecting
them to abstain from sex, right? Oh honey, Jade West knows how to put some hot
and heavy sex in her books but also knows how to write some fantastic and great
emotional angst with a great plot and that is what Bang Gang is. I love
the supporting cast but the MC are fantastic, the only thing is I would have
liked to see them a year or so down the road on how they were doing if I had to
think of one criticism.
