ARC REVIEW of The Long Ball by Aria Cole

OMG Aria Cole does it again.  The Long Ball  is my new favorite by her. It is so awesomely fantastic. It was  a sassy, sweet, sexy, spicy, and passionate read. It is a baseball focused read but don’t be fooled, it is all romance with baseball as the setting. Cash and Delilah are the MC- Cash is the star player/pitcher for the Timberwolves and Delilah is hired to do the analytics, research, etc for the team.  Both come to the team with huge baseball backgrounds and they both have a lot of issues. As the story progresses’, we get to see a look into their lives/backgrounds and see why they have their hang-up’s. Cash sees Delilah and wants her yet she doesn’t want to give in due to her past and is afraid to so she doesn’t give him the time of day but does that deter Cash? Nope!  He didn’t get to be the best baseball player by giving up so he kept pushing forward and trying. Oh and he has to keep trying and he pursues her tirelessly. Oh and it was beautiful with how he kept on showing Delilah that he wasn’t going away or giving up. Their sexy talk and their passionate liaisons’ made this one of the best books by Aria Cole; the ending made this so much more endearing and precious and it’s her first full length novel. I completely enjoyed it and cannot wait for her next one.
