My Review:

When I started reading this story, I thought to myself “Oh wow, what client has these types of exchanges with their new editor?’ Or really what person ever has? This sounds like a very type A personality yet someone who is take charge and is super alpha ..I had to know more about author Jackson Ford. And more did I get to know. He made me shiver , he made me crave, he made me want to know what made HIM tick…and that gem of a duty what to his new editor Ellie Parker. She knew he has brilliance inside of him but it was ready to be explored and explored did Jackson want to do…he pushed and pulled and teased and taunted with Ellie until fireworks happened.

Ellie is someone who gives honesty a lot but she tries to be tactful –with Jackson , you have to be blunt and in this case, she give that honesty in spades.  Jack ran hot and cold with her , tempting and teasing then he went radio silent and in order to keep her job at the publishing house , she ends up driving to see him at his place –that is where the book really took off. Here you have angst, secrets, passion, down and dirty sex( YAY), twists and turns that were unexpected and some awesome humor then the twist I didn’t see—the break.  Poor Ellie, my heart broke for her. Her life hasn’t been the best in a while and here is a guy who looks to be her dream. Will Jack mend her heart or will he break it completely?

This story will push you out of your comfort zone and make you think while pushing some emotions around. You will be rooting for our MC. I loved the ending and how it was written. Lovely story with a great message.
