Big Man's Contract by Penny Wylder is
Madden and Lina's story. This is about the shy boy next door and the "mean girl". Madden was in love with Lina but she didn't speak out when a nasty prank got pulled on Madden then ended up moving away...fast forward 10 years later when Lina moves back to town after her dad died and she's trying to get her dad's bar opened back up. Madden has changed since Lina last saw him. He is all buff and muscles but he is carrying a grudge due to how things were left between them. Can these two mend fences? Well this is a 2nd chance romance so yea! I am a bit unhappy with the ending. I liked the plot but the story left questions. Madden and Lina are great together. Lots of passion, angst, drama and romance but no real HEA...overall good read, with good characters.
