My review:
Obsessive Addiction is book 1 in the "Those Malcolm Boys" series, and just a small word of warning, this book does come with some triggers.
The Malcolm Brothers each have Obsessions that rule their lives and for Crux , that obsession happens to be the girl next door. Although not isnt totally a dark romance read, this book may not be the right reading Material for all readers as it addresses difficult and sensitive subject matter(s). I found this book to be a quick and steamy read; yet it stayed on my mind and my heart long after I was done reading Obsessive Addiction. Crux and Farren were the perfect couple. The emotions in this book were intense, hot, dramatic, angsty, passionate, heartbreaking, gritty and full of romance. I completely didn’t want this story to end. I was left wanting more of the Malcolm Brothers and their stories.
The heroine Farren has suffered horrific abuse that has haunted her even now in life and Crux ended up going to prison several years ago to protect her. Her torment didn’t stop with the murder of her tormentor/abuser and when Crux returns home to her, he offers to help her by giving her shelter and protection. Crux is hot, alpha sexy and determined in his quest to right the wrongs of Farren’s past for she is his Obsessive Addiction. This story is steamy, goes with the flow and is fast paced; this is a story that can be read in 1 sitting because its a phenomenal story thats hard to put down-- this is an emotional, intense, steamy read. I recommend Obsessive Addiction totally. I will say that I wish the book was longer in length so we could have delved much more into the characters because I would have wanted alittle more added to the story plus I didn't want this to end… I cant wait to read the next book in this series.
