This book is so different than what the author has written in the past. It is a dark romance, romantic suspense read and OMG I loved it!!!!! It is steamy, intense, dangerous, thrilling, twisted, suspenseful, erotic, sizzling and epic! It’s a read where there are lies and misinformation is present. Cole and Austin have a love/hate relationship. Cole is someone who has an end game and in order to get to that end game, he plays his games and OMG those games are pretty dangerous. When the story starts , you think Cole literally cant stand Austin..or can he? There are so many twisted, tangled webs going on that I didn’t know if I was coming or going until quite literally almost the end of this book and I loved that. Austin is a young woman who is being sent to live with her father until she graduates high school and she just has the year to finish. She had a pretty bad home life with her mother and she is being sent to live with a father that hasn’t wanted anything to do with her unless it is to pay money to keep her away. Now all of a sudden, he is willing to take her. Austin doesn’t know what to do or what to think. I felt so bad for her and yet I admired her for standing tall among all the vines that were trying to entwine over her and bring her down. Cole is this twisted, devious, sexy young man who has this end game that he is playing and his moves are all over the places. The plot twists and turns will leave you guessing like I said until the very end. And when it all comes to the final play, you will not expect what happens. It is like this awesome played game but who was really real in this story? This story will have you guessing. It is amazing and sizzling. I loved majority of the characters but there were a few that I just wanted to see get their comeuppance. I Dare You is told from dual POV's. The blurb fits this story perfectly and Ms. Tessier did a phenomenal writing job on this book. I can’t wait to see what she writes next for this was smashingly fantastic!!!
